For example, I have probably seen over 1500 HP flat panels with 0 dead pixels get deployed. I have also seen about 200 low response time, expensive video editing panels all with some sort of pixel issue out of the box. The whole order of 200 panels. All of them. At $1700 a pop. This was chalked up to a "bad batch" and the distributor sent us another 200 making sure they were acquired in blocks of 50 from different warehouses. 111 of those had pixel issues. During this refresh project another 250 27" HP panels arrived. Standard workstation monitors. 249 of them were perfect. 1 would not power on at all. These are $235 monitors.
Wow. Yeah I didn't think the monitor would be the hardest to go right with this build. Never was even on my radar as possibly being the largest cause of grief. We sit here and fuss over obscure voltages in the bios while overclocking as if that's the hardest to get working without flaw haha.
