Don't know the ultrawides, they are often curved and out of my price range. There are some launched recently such as that AW but also even newer from LG that are I think better at least in reviews. Also LG announced another UW 38GL950G IPS 175Hz 24:10 3840x1600px, Q3-Q4, price probably insane. https://www.lg.com/us/monitors/lg-38...gaming-monitor

The older UW had 100Hz only as "OC", the newer marketed as 100Hz or 120Hz native.

As in you could often get a triple 27" IPS/VA 144Hz or one ultrawide...
Or get 31.5" 16:9 which is area wise comparable to 35" ultrawide and can be found even "cheap" now.
