I don't have too much of an issue with the 10E's $750 price to be honest. I think Samsung would've really hit the ball out of the park had they priced it $100 lower (more as a counter to the cheap flagship devices from China rather than as a response to Apple) but as-is the phone still delivers a fairly fully featured S10 experience that requires far less sacrifice than something like the iPhone XR (you still get the same CPU and memory configs, the same dual aperture and wide angle cameras as in the other S10's, 4K at 60 FPS video recording and Super SloMo, a still-very-decent 438PPI AMOLED display with mostly the same bezel-less though flat design, HDR10+ certification, the wireless powershare feature, etc).
