Let's look at another title with DxR. Looks playable to me with DxR enabled on the 2070.

I haven't kept up on it as much as I should have but regardless, in your very own link a RTX2080 over the course of 3 runs averages 66.7fps at RT on LOW. The 2080 is considerably faster than a 2070. They are also using a TR 1920x which I'd say falls in the realm of a bit faster than a FX especially with RT on.

In the Metro bench you linked they are using a 6c12t 8086k at 5ghz so you've got to use basic logic here and realize there is no chance that a FX @ 5ghz is going to be near those numbers with RT on paired with a RTX2070. At 63fps MIN it's already on the border of easily dipping below 60 and that's again, with a ridiculously faster cpu feeding it.

Again, if it turns out to be a bottlenecked mess, then I'll upgrade to Ryzen. I'm not too stubborn to admit when I'm wrong, but I love my 8350 and I spent A LOT to get her to 5.1 (Expensive loop, 3 mobo upgrades to feed her, and tons of case/socket mods) so I'm reluctant to admit she was dead when I bought her and I'm hesitant to admit that she might need to be retired. This 2070 may be the push that gets me to make the jump to AM4.

Anyway, have a great rest of your week, and if this thread is still up, I'll update with stats when it gets here
You as well, thanks. I look forward to the results as I've still got my 9590 sitting around.
