Have a look below at my 2700x in Windoz 10 Task Manager. It shows Base speed
of 3.7GHz while under load at 4.2GHz.
This is normal. It is displaying Base speed
You should see a more realistic value under Speed
in task manager.
Inaccuracy is due to no physical sensor to read Bclk, most mobo's use a logarithm to calculate Bclk.
This is why (in my case) my Speed
reads low as it's using 99.8MHz Bclk instead of actual 100MHz.
