Amazon, on the other hand, caused me all knds of grief in the form of sending wrong products, often repeatedly, doing a piss poor job packaging, resulting in broken products, often with the replacement products also getting broken, the completely incompetent "service" of their own carrier, customer "service" live reps being useless (the chats and emails were "manned" by badly programmed bots), etc. I finally got fed up with their crap and, except for e-books, I simply will NOT do business with Amazon.
I've had prime since 2009 and while I will lament their packaging methods, I've noticed it's gotten better. Though even with the poorly packed stuff, I've never had broken merchandise, incorrect merchandise, or any runaround like that.
Twice I had packages ship through OnTrac which has to be the worst shipping company in existence. 2-3 days late both times (one of those times being my GTX 980 back in Dec 2014). I called and complained about the poor service from OffTrac and requested they never use them again on my account. Realistically not sure if that request did anything, or if enough people complained about them...I don't know. I do know that none of my packages have shipped through them since.
Once I did not receive a package (it was marked delivered) and when I called they pretty much no questions asked refunded the order quick and painless.
