MySpace was extremely buggy. Nearly every day you ran into some type of error that would keep you from using the messaging system or some aspect of MySpace. The reason why people stopped using it was it was never stable, and Facebook had Farmville.

If MySpace was turned into a site that didn't have more bugs than a elder scrolls game, it probably would have lived a longer life. Their feature list never improved. It was doomed to fail.

Facebook is no doubt being run by a bunch of people that are just waiting for bad things to happen than being "Smart". Their platform at least works.
