I'm open to doing this, but I cannot fit my soldering iron tip and wire into each of the power supply's plastic connector holes. How can I do this? Or, is there a way you recommend cutting the plastic modular connector that has the metal pins inside it?

Also bajer29, thanks for those links. When I looked inside the power supply connector, it's a MALE metal pin inside, so I don't think that 90 degree "Right Angle Motherboard Header Connector" you linked to would work...unless you had a method?
