Chicken delid that sucker
I just looked at my old post, my 7820X was actually ROG RealBench stable at 4.8GHz with a Cinebench R15 score of 2040 but was too warm for my liking, even on an AIO. What frustrates me is even with that OC, a stock 9900K is still quicker and the 3900X will basically be a 12 core 9900K.
AMD is comparing the 3900X to the 9920X stating the Cinebench R20 single thread score bests it by 14% and multi-thread score by 6%. For comparison, that probably puts the R15 multi-thread score around 2930...on 105 watts...for $500!
