Don't know why you would be... Turing was a good launch/upgrade from Pascal, I just can't convince myself that turing.2.0 will also be. Volta was a great product launch, crushing the previous generation cards (as epic as the OG Titan IMO), but alas, production is just not economical at this point for it to go mainstream. I did buy 2 RTX Titans, but was shocked at the crippled FP64 and other compute weaknesses (and that it is only marginally better gamer than a good 2080Ti). Returned them, picked up 2 FEs and a second Titan V (used). Actually saved a few $, yeah, out of a stupidly large number.

For the occasional gaming these rigs do, at 1440P/165 or 4K/60 ya really can't see a big difference in game play (except in RT, but why enable RT anyway?). I can say that for 1/5th the price, the Radeon VII can do 75-90% the work a Titan V does (tho it also consumes 2-3x the power), but gaming wise, the VII is not close (and is only somewhat better than a years-old 295x2 for games, crazy - right?).

If you happen to be in the market when the new "super" dooper cards launch, that's benefit for buyers. If you already have a 2080 or 2080Ti (or 2070/60), side-grade is a generous description.

I was using it in my 3930K rig but it's DOA, lol.

Now it's sitting there looking at me.
I believe the Black is the non-A gpu. That's why it may re-sell slowly.

Halo products like the V and RTXT are just that in the gaming segment. In thje pro-sumer segment they really have little competition (Radeon VII is a shot at it tho)

Why you think the pc gaming bloomed the last couple of yrs? bcuz of good prices.. You have company's selling you mainstream cpus at hedt prices you see nvidia charging $429 msrb for a xx60 chip....
where we going to end at at this point?
im sorry but a console its looking very appealing at this point XD 30 fps or not lol
lol - I actually saw a console/gaming set up in a retirement community "game room" over the weekend... musta been for visitors.
