Haha sorry, I should probably phrase it differently. The problem with just the straightforward wall mounts that push in is that the built ins have doors that will hit the TV even if it’s flush against the wall (they’d hit the wall now if the TV stand wasn’t blocking them entirely). We thought about just hanging the TV above the built ins, but that seems like it’d cause a lot of neck strain. Hence wanting to be able to pull it down when in use and lift it up when it’s not.
