My 1080 Ti is the first MSI GPU I ever owned and while it works just fine and the cooler is fantastic and it looks pretty sweet (IMO) it's also one of the worst OCing 1080 Tis on OCN.
(I know I just lost the silicon lottery and my sample size of 1 is too small to make the assumption that all MSI cards are crap but it still left a bad taste in my mouth
I'm curious, what kind of MHZ are you getting stable on your Core?
@OP: Personally, I would definitely recommend the MSI. I also have an MSI 1080 Ti and it's the best card I ever had. Very silent fans even at max (vs strix for ex), runs really cool (about 60c max under load, side panel off) and OCs decently.
