I'll keep an eye out, but it seems like for SC2, I could maybe spend $100+ on a mythical unicorn of an AGP rig to make 1 not-so-competitive 4670 sub, or spend 2/3 or less of that for a 9700 Pro and an X850 or 6800 Ultra and make two competitive subs for stages 2 and 3. That seems like easy math to me since lots of folks are probably rocking Bloomfields + HD 4800s.

Bloomfield + GTX 280 will take that stage for sure, but I've got that covered anyway smile.gif

Artikbot, what are you showing us, for my edification?

Got the 775 rig up and running, ASRock 775i65G R3.0 for the P4 550 (E5800 in it now, damn you Team Cup!). Had about three heartstopping minutes where I thought it wasn't going to post, but whaddya know, it came through and is running great. Gonna put the HD 3850 through its paces in preparation for Team Cup subs, and maybe also try to snag some regular Boints.

I'm preaching to the choir here, but this s**t is a blast. biggrin.gif

I'm showing that the stupid CPU waterblock broke down and it's sprung a leak... If you look closely, there's water dripping from the nylon block atop the retention bracket. It's a pore that grew between the top and the copper plate itself.

And the solution, is using a broken Antec 620 coldplate and middle plate, together with a piece of acrylic, to make a new waterblock biggrin.gif

Also, you'll see how fantastic the E5800 is. I've got a lowly E5200 and already loving it... biggrin.gif

It wouldn't have leaked if the board wasn't so dusty tongue.gif

It is up and running! wheee.gif

I'm giving the TNT2 some love, poor card has been running like a champ since 2000, yet I haven't sumbitted her to HWBot yet tongue.gif

Testing in 3DM01 default order with CL last, LOD Bias clamped to +4, 175/179MHz.

Update: Doesn't seem to cross 1491 points with Forceware 61. Swapping to 67. Thinking of using toothpaste as a TIM, the core is hovering mid 30s, but could get him to mid 20s!

Update 2: Reached 1536pts! LOD Bias to 15 (lol), memory at 183MHz core to 180. But the damned computer hung so I've got nothing. Redoing it =_=

1538 points, and the card won't go higher. Good enough is good enough, climbed from 25 to 23th place. More to come when the TEC lands thumb.gif
