Got my new RAM and it works just fine but I'm not getting good scores with it

I dropped timings a bit (4133 17-18-18-35 2T), but it's slower than my old 3733 RAM @ 17-18-18-36 2T.

I assume it's a secondary timing that's left on auto that's way higher than it needs to be, but my BIOS doesn't tell you what the "auto" settings end up picking, they just say "auto." Is there a version of "Ryzen Timing Checker" for Intel?

I went back and changed tRRDS/tRDDL and tFAW (the only secondary timings that I understand tbh) off auto and set them manually and scores were mostly unaffected.

what do?

double post ... but my Time Spy Physix and Super Pi times are better, so maybe it's just a GeekBench issue? I thought GB3 was the holy grail of RAM benchmarks though

Bit of an odd afterburner issue. Been overclocking an HD 7450. I can get the core to over 1200mhz but the ram keeps going back to stock frequency over 1200 unless I increase the memory frequency. e.g 1200 1100 is fine but 1201 will reduce the actual memory frequency back to 800 in GPU-Z. if I change the memory frequency to 1105 to match the 1205 core is runs at the set speed.

done the whole uninstall drivers with DDU along with uninstalling afterburner.

Try Precision X, a few posts up I had some wonky issues with a 4850 that I was playing with using Afterburner. Precision X worked fine though.

precision X won't work with the 7450 card. Tried a different driver and card still did the same thing. stuck at 1200mhz on core if I want a decent memory clock.

Bought a GTX 260 216 since I killed the last one trying to do a physical volt mod, figure I can give it a go again

Didn't know they made 65nm 216 versions (thought all 260s were 65nm and 216 260s were 55nm), though. Hopefully that's not a problem but we'll see
