I also find it pretty interesting. My previous Ryzen 9 3900X was able to do the same as what
but with time things become even better. I ended up selling my first Ryzen 9 3900X (had a -30c cold bug when under Dry Ice) in the hope of purchasing a 3950X but in South Africa the wait is loooong and pricing another headache. So I got another Ryzen 9 3900X and I was impressed. You see with the vcore my previous chip did 4.3gzh I can run the new chip 4.417ghz which is 1.325vcore. For everyday use I can run the cpu 4.317ghz at 1.2375vcore and it is rock stable. Interesting when looking on the chip to decifer the BF code it seems the new cpu was made week 36 of 2019.
So one of the guys here in SA got a 3950X from Newegg and when looking at the BF code on the chip it was also made the same week as mine.
