I would not be surprised to see the intel chip winning various single or lightly threaded workloads, and even some heavier ones for a limited time due to turbo/thermal abuse. They are not required to operate at the same power draw after all.

Of course, being an OCable chip, it's competitor is Threadripper, not EPYC.
