i guesse maybe not, since 2080 is last year performance for over taxed NV pricing, and they're mass produced... that would then leave room for an even better model, since multi-sku is definitely coming back.

only way i'm buying a console is if they release one that hangs with my current 2080ti/9700k PC.
The 2080 is also a 545mm2 die, this is a Zen 2 CPU and GPU in a 360mm2 total die. The GPU musn't be much bigger than a 5700XT, if not the same size yet its 56CUs(52 active) I think the real takeaway is AMD is making serious leaps in its architecture and RDNA 2 is going to be pretty neat.
This convinces me that the "2080ti killer" must exist after all and that they may actually even be prepared for the 3000 series. I've been sure they'd be their same old useless selves and release a slightly slower 2080ti competitor right before the 3080ti drops.
