True. It all comes down to how efficiently you fold. I admit that i play tf2 atleast for an hour or 2 a day and then i got use some multimedia applications as part of my work, which will drop my ppd. If i just left my system folding 24/7 , i could do 10k everday

Its just how consistently you fold through out the month. Mike is the best example

Common guys, we can beat KFG.

Clocks have a lot to do with it also. Especially the shader clock as we all know.

Talking about consistency through out the whole month.
Well a consistent 1700 shader will gradually leave a consistent 1650.
Do the math, im too lazy, i already know the outcome.

9000 ppd -1700 shader
8000 ppd - 1650 shader

day two would =

18000 points - 1700 shader
16000 points - 1650 shader

day three

27000
24000

3000 pt gap now.

You get the picture

Hence i want to buy a new gtx285 and try to get one with higher clocks like maybe a FTW edition.

Yeah my 285 has to stay 1620 - 24/7 - for 100% stability.
the 1656 strap always drops my driver after an hour or two, sometimes it will last a full 6-8 hours, but will eventually fail.
I cannot run the 1691 strap to save my life, it locks up and driver crashes after 10-20 seconds of folding on it.

So im stuck at 1620. Your shader clock speed is 2 straps out of my range.

Having a superior gpu may help here and there, vs if im up against a 275.
In the long run your clocks will out due me. Both of us having 285 gpu.
Hence the teams, hopefully combined some magic will work. =)
