That's good, though I'm not sure temperatures are fully indicative of stability. I guess we'll find out!

Are you using FahMon to monitor the PPD?

really 3600ppd? I cant get that out cpu folding and gpu folding together. I average about 1400-2k and yes I have ran them separate with no improvement but I still fold anyways

Found FahMon.

Would even an 8800 Ultra generate more points then HD 4890 Toxic? I've got an Ultra sitting idle that I know I can run at some serious shader clockspeeds....1688 or close to it.

Much more. My 9800GTX at stock speeds netted about 6000 PPD. If I clocked it up to 1998 shader (the only important number for folding) I could get about 6700 PPD.

Finally put everything together and activated the other Vista install.

With shaders at 1728 and everything else at stock my 8800 Ultra gets something around 6350-6400 ppd at 350point projects.

This is with Q6600 @ 3.6Ghz

Too bad I've been getting unknown core/credit projects for most of the time since I fired it up so I dont know how well it does with other projects.

How many PPD does an HD 4890 get? My son's pc has one and I might press it into action...

I haven't been folding on mine for a while since I'm out of the country, but when I was, it was getting between 3500-3900 PPD with a decent OC.

Definitely get that thing running for the CC!
