A lil update on my situation, I updated the BIOS from F5 to F8 and its stable at stocks now (8 mins on orthos so far). How long should I orthos Small FFTs to know that it is stable?

I usually just start up the [email protected] client and let it sit there. If it completes a work unit without crashing then I consider it stable lol

Good idea, I"ve never folded with a CPU before because my last one was trash. Why do I keep hearing VMWare and Ubuntu for CPU folding?

How would this affect my day to day computer usage?
