Perhaps with keeping the 4 person teams and the type of systems many have you could up the minimum system requirements.

You really can't determine the minimum system requirements. I mean, my E8400 might be a better OCer then someone elses E8600, but then, someone might get a lower CPU then the E8400 and OC it to heck and back and smoke me.

I think open reins on requirements, and let the points fall!

Jade, it was a joke, I don't like brokeback mountain, I think some more like the movie "Just Friends," that movie was funny!!!!

I think that raising the gpu cap anymore would turn it into a gpu competition, if it reachs 3k or so. My 8800gs can do about 2700k on the 511's and any card over that should easily be able to do 3k. It'd be a pretty much guaranteed 3k. Now we have the dreaded 5102's that can easily take a day and a half.

I know that a conistant cpu folder can still net more points, but I feel that there is more risk invovled. If my rig is running strong and only get good wu's I can do 3840 everyday. But those days when I don't get good wu's would close the gap easily.

Maybe it's just me wanting to be able to have an edge on the gpu folders?

I think that the comp should just not change, and stay how it was. I don't see enough interest in another comp to add to this one already.

I propose if we are going to do 2 man teams, that the cap is removed or raised for GPU and SMP/VMware.
