Keep HT enabled, but only run one folding application. The HT will help the computer handle multitasking smoothly, but adding a second copy of the program will count as 2 CPUs and will only add about 30% to your scores. There are also some other issues with doubling up on HT machines; see the FAQ in my sig for more info.

Gill and pauldovi, thanks for you interest. I'll let you know in the next day or two. I started a PM exchange with another member before either of you posted, so he'll likely be the team's third member. Since you guys are offering different numbers of computers, whichever one of you will get us to 8 total will be a perfect fit.

Edit: wowza had contacted me previously by PM, and he's bringing 3 CPUs to the team. Along with the 4 between Oknilp and me, we're just one shy. Gill, if you'd like to bring your 1 CPU to the team, we'd be happy to have you.

The team is all set.

It's myself (2 CPU), wowza (3 CPU), Oknilp (2 CPU), and gill (1 CPU).

Now we need to think of a team name.

I like the Pentium thing.

Do any of the other teams have names? We don't want to be simular or upstaged lol. No seriously I'm open for a collective vote. (The 8 CPU's) sounds like a 50's band or (The FAU Four) I'm just having fun.

I have been away a while and frankly am very rusty here at Overclock.net the main thing is I feel pretty good most of the time and Folding is very near and dear to me. Just hope we don't get creamed?

I may have missed the post, when is the start date?

Oh! can you tell me if those Target box flags set in the (start short cut) were to be ran as is on both my machines? Also are the flags a way to run the most effecient or the most optimal?

And do you want me to run the console version? If so can I run the setup on the 2.4 to learn the console version, uninstall the graghical etc.. and us the console on my 3.4 once I am up to speed?

I just wasn't sure how important it would be from a team perspective?

Anyways, I will run team names around my household and ??? we will see.
I like the Pentium angle, I think of folding and Intel , Pentum, Mhz, WU, FAU, Core, Protein, etc... stand out as well, Its not a football team....
