It is a program that runs in the backround of your computer and fold's DNA protiens for Stanford U. These DNA proteins require massive amounts of computer power, and even the most powerful supercomputers in the world are not sufficient. But, with the help of thousands of computer around the world who share part of the load, the DNA can be mapped, and hopefully cancer and other diseases can be cured.
