That's a subsidiary of Bottlehead. I don't know who supplies them, but their power transformers, and likely those ones you linked to, are custom-wound for them.

I just can't get this plate even sanded and I can't find anyone local to polish it. Today is really pissing me off.

Whatever. It's not as polished as I'd like...kind of has a haze to it.

Is the PT-7 a drop in replacement for the PT-3 that comes with the crack? I am trying to build a crack by sourcing my own parts but bottlehead doesn't sell the PT-3 by itself.

Dang man! You are doing insane stuff!
I have been using the 1.0 Crack w Speedball for a while now, and i really dislike their behavior towards people who bought a prebuilt crack second hand. Sure they loose their insane profits, but end of the day its their product.
Do you mind if i PM you regarding some simple modification questions?

I have had several people asking about the Speedball or other things. I really have no will to live anymore, and with that, I have no interest in performing any hobbies. This project is dead and I have no time to answer questions about how to copy their design.

People are just the worst.

Okay. Started my current job 5 years ago. I've more than doubled my salary since then. So I am not miserable from living paycheck-to-paycheck. Last weekend I was drinking and said to my neighbor "I'd like to build a box" because I was thinking of the Jerky Boys. And in the back of my mind I was thinking about this amplifier. He has some nice wood sitting around and is going to build me a box. I got back into this now. Why not? I have the top plate sitting on my porch still wrapped in plastic from the laser-cutting people. I have Bottlehead's PT-7 transformer and a powder-coated end bell sitting on my desk for years. Parts from Mouser sitting in a box for years. Parts from the old amp cluttering up my desk. So today I ordered more parts from Mouser (choke, diodes, Neutrik headphone jack, and missing misc. parts), PCBs from OSHPark, and tubes and capacitors from "PartsConneXion." I also sent out CAD files to get quotes on CNC machining for tube socket brackets. Once I get some of this stuff in the mail I will be mocking up and ordering stainless Torx hardware from McMaster. So keep your eyes open for this thread updating in the coming weeks.

I am also considering buying 10 Cracks and Speedballs at once, building and testing them, and then selling them. I was thinking of then selling them for $600 plus shipping. If 1 batch works out well, I would continue doing this.
