The secret to the Beats' success is marketing. You see all these rappers/musicians wear them in music videos and stuff, teens sees, they want. Some of my friends have Beats because of marketing(****, Dr.Dre wears them, that means its gewd!!). Most of them don't even care about sound quality(that's also one of the secret to the Beats' success). I tried to convert them, but to no avail, they love their Beats because of the brand name.
Tbh I couldn't care less about the marketing or the branding or whatever.

They look nice and are good for my tastes in music.

Also the main thing is I like how they sound at the end of the day that's what matters.

They sound terrible for the price IMO. I've tried them in Best Buy and honestly my Turbine IEMs have nicer sounding bass response and overall sound quality and cost me $80.

fine, but once you've experienced products around the same price, you wouldn't be saying that. That's all. Perspective is based upon knowledge and experience.

This this this this

THIS!

I can say my homemade pasta is the best tasting thing in the world, but have I tried other pasta? No. Without tasting better pasta, I can only assume(in full ignorance) that my pasta tastes the best.

Sure, one can argue that the way pasta tastes is all personal preference, but one could also argue that poop tastes better than chocolate.

It's bad practice to give advice based on ignorance.

EDIT:

My input is this, I have tried the beats before. The bass in definitely present and strong, but it is muddy and not very... immersible. They are, however, pretty much the best cans available to the general public.. if you go to wallmart/futureshop/bb.
