Considering a build on AMD. Any advice?

I am about to buy a new PC, first time on AMD. From the beginning, I thought to get 2700x on x470, but later I've got advice that better to wait till a new generation of Ryzen and x570 motherboard. So, this is a build I considering to buy now. The idea is to change CPU and motherboard to a new one in July when they roll them out to the market. So in the worst scenario, I can lose $260, which is not ideal, but fine. Now the question is whether it's a good idea or not? Any advice would really help.

1) AMD Ryzen 3 2200G 3,5GHz OR AMD Ryzen 5 2600
2) MSI B450-A PRO
3) G.SKILL 32GB 3200MHz Trident Z RGB LED CL14 (2x16GB)
4) MSI GeForce RTX 2080 GAMING X TRIO 8GB GDDR6
5) Intel 1TB M.2 PCIe Gen3 x4 NVMe 2280 660p Series
6) WD 1TB 7200obr. 64MB BLUE
7) be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 4
8) Seasonic 750W Focus Plus 80 Plus Gold BOX

If you do go this route, go with the 2200G because you can use it and the board for an HTPC when you upgrade the rest of the rig. If you intend to do so (or use the 2200G to build a simple gaming machine for a kid/relative/spouse or some other purpose for which it is uniquely suited) then it's a decent idea. You'll probably want a new RAM kit as well (if Ryzen 2 has better memory compatibility and it should), but again, you can double purpose the RAM kit you'd be getting now for the 2200G's second life. In that case, go with a 16GB kit rather than splurging on the 32GB.

I'd get 16GB (2x8GB) unless you really need 32GB , RAM is expected to drop in price and it's easier to overclock single sided / single rank DIMMs.

► Recommended GPU Projects: [email protected] , [email protected] (FP64) (AMD moreso) ► Other notable GPU projects: [email protected] (Nvidia), GPUGrid (Nvidia) ► Project list

With the free games you could pick the 2600 which it's a $50 game you get to keep after the fact of your issue . I have a 1600/RX 580 8GB combo I already have Resident Evil 2 free , I skipped Devil May Cry and chose The Division 2 as I await the release of it ,

you could get all 3 games going 2600 and RX570/580/590 as the savings going RX 570 8gb would be free up to $150 + depending on what you feel the value of those game was as up grading from that 2200g in a way .

With the time I have spend with my 27" Samsung curved VA 1080p Free Sync panel I was thinking of adding two more and see if Eyefinity still works in IRacing sims .

Xeon X5660 @4.2Ghz
EVGA x58 3way Sli rev 1.2 bios 83
OCZ Gold ram 6 Gb
Corsair 950 watt powersupply
Sapphire R9-280

It sounds like the smartest decision is to wait.
You can pick up the other components as they go on sale, then buy the new cpu / motherboard when it launches.

DDR4 is supposed to keep going down, however rgb c14 3200 is among the most desirable. It seems to be holding its value fairly well.
If you wait then you will be able to watch the prices. It looks like the x570 will be dual channel, so 2x16gb ftw.

You could take the money saved and put it toward a samsung 970 m.2 or an rtx 2080 ti.
