New PC $1500

So I am looking to build a new system. I have a budget of total budget of $1,500 and I have spent $180 on the following:

1) EVGA 750w PSU
2) WD Black 500g NVMe SSD - I plan on using for the boot drive and games
3) WB Black 2TB HHD - everything else

I was thinking about the following other items...

RAM 16g/32g - somewhere around $100-$150
Case - I like the Be Quiet 700 - should be able to get for $150ish
-I would like something visualing pleasing that isnt over the top gaudy, decent for overclocking and quiet.
Cooling - not sure what to pick $100; ilike the way AIOs look but I see where its kind of a mixed bag and some suggest just sticking with air
Windows license - $100
Unless I am missing something that would leave me $800-$850 for a CPU, MB and GPU.
-the 2700x is $300
-MB $125ish?
-GPU $425?

So I definitely keep debating on waiting for the new Ryzen...even if that would put pressure on older chips. I can wait...I am not in a rush as I have my trusty i5-2500k and I am not getting rid of it...my kids are getting it. But I want something I can play Star Citizen on and later this year I would be upgrading a monitor to one of the ultra wides (separate expense I am not including in this).

Would definitely appreciate some input or feedback.

In very few weeks the Ryzen 3000 sereis will be out as you are aware. I read somewhere that the 12 core will be high clocking. I highly suggest you wait.

What model is that EVGA PSU? many of the EVGA models are not very good

And second the NVME SSD you bought was a waste of money for gaming as its only a second faster at most compared to an AHCI based SSD

And last dont spend $100 on a Windows license its a ripoff when you can download it for free on the MS website to any random USB device and buy a digtal key for as little as $10 online

PSU = 750 G+ Supernova Gold

I get it on the WD NVMe...but again...I got all three for $180 so yes...I could have gotten something else but it was a decent price for a decent piece of gear. Not sure on the PSU quality...it was the larger unknown of the three.

Ill wait on the 3000 series cpu's but arnt the gpu's coming out in like the 4th quarter? not sure ill wait on that.

Also...on the windows license. Im not into doing something illegitimate and I hadnt heard about finding one for that cheap. If its for real, can you recommend a trustworthy source for it? I would definitely look into that.

500GB is nowhere near enough for Windows + Games. Games take a lot of space nowadays...

You don't have to pay $100 for a Windows license. You can easily pay $30 or less, sometimes even less than $10 for legal keys.
https://www.kinguin.net/category/15019/windows/

For cooling, there is one I recommend right now to everyone. The Scythe Mugen 5 Rev. B. Spend the extra $50 on other components.

For $150 you're better off going with fast 16GB RAM rather than slow 32GB RAM, especially for Ryzen.

My suggestion if you really want 32GB;
PCPartPicker Part List

CPU: AMD - Ryzen 7 2700X 3.7 GHz 8-Core Processor ($279.99 @ Amazon)
CPU Cooler: Scythe - Mugen 5 Rev. B 51.17 CFM CPU Cooler ($51.89 @ OutletPC)
Motherboard: MSI - B450 TOMAHAWK ATX AM4 Motherboard ($109.89 @ OutletPC)
Memory: G.Skill - Trident Z RGB 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory ($189.99 @ Newegg)
Video Card: Sapphire - Radeon RX VEGA 56 8 GB PULSE Video Card ($299.99 @ Amazon)
Case: be quiet! - Dark Base 700 ATX Mid Tower Case ($179.90 @ Amazon)
Total: $1111.65
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

Alternative for better GPU, at the cost of 32GB becoming 16GB, and 8C/16T becoming 6C/12T;
PCPartPicker Part List

CPU: AMD - Ryzen 5 2600X 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor ($159.99 @ Walmart)
CPU Cooler: Scythe - Mugen 5 Rev. B 51.17 CFM CPU Cooler ($51.89 @ OutletPC)
Motherboard: MSI - B450 TOMAHAWK ATX AM4 Motherboard ($109.99 @ Amazon)
Memory: G.Skill - Ripjaws V Series 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory ($145.98 @ Newegg)
Video Card: Gigabyte - GeForce RTX 2070 8 GB WINDFORCE Video Card ($478.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Case: be quiet! - Dark Base 700 ATX Mid Tower Case ($179.90 @ Amazon)
Total: $1126.74

It's still better to wait for the Ryzen 3000 series. But these give you a good baseline. To me, the first system is the better value. I do think the case is a bit expensive though...

The G1+ is a ripoff and while its not bad its way overpriced and it cost more than the Seasonic Focus Plus Gold in many places despite being worse
So yeah return that and get Focus Plus or there is the Corsair RMx they are both better and they are both probably cheaper as well

As for Windows 10 keys there is nothing illegitimate about buying a key online its perfectly legal
Check out Joker on youtube he has a discount code to a site that sells legal keys but i cant recall what the site was called unfortunately

Edit: found the link so here you go Windows 10 Pro key for $15,75
https://www.lvlgo.com/windows-10-pro...gital-key.html

As for kinguin Joker made a video about how awful they are and why you should not use them so dont
