Win 7 install

Hi! I have an ASUS ROG CROSSHAIR VI EXTREME motherboard,RYZEN 7 1700X,a Sapphire Radeon NITRO+ RX 580 and a Creative Sound BlasterX AE-5 (yes I copy/paste) and I want to install Windows7 to it. Has anybody done this with a similar setup? If so, HOW! I have tried NTlite with no luck. Can anybody point me in the right direction?
Thank you in advance!

what issue are you actually running into? I'm from intel land, is there some issue with modern AMD & win7?

Have you tried using a CD? I keep an old SATA optical and win7 install in my stash for this exact reason. Just in case it ever comes up @ work.

Install Win 7 without the Soundbalster card and then once everything is setup try to get the Creative Sound BlasterX AE-5 working.

I am trying to make a setup that will allow Win 7 to install automatically. Apparently, Win 7 doesn't have the drivers to allow for USB activation on Ryzen motherboards. I've tried NTlite and AWIK with no luck.

Considering 7's age I would recommend trying to get hold of cheap 8.1 keys and running 8.1 instead as 8.1 comes with a lot of drivers preinstalled that 7 lacks.

I was never able to get USB to work in Windows 7 with my Taichi on 1151. I only wanted it for a HWBOT OS and the recommendation was to use a PS/2 keyboard/mouse but I went with an 8.1 Embedded Industry Pro install instead

You can download a pre-modified 8.1 EIP ISO from here (made to look like like 7 + a few other misc tweaks), but you still need to track down your own key and that can be a bit difficult. I got one through my old college Microsoft Azure account.

Apart from the task manager I think this is a great Windows version. I love the task manager improvements in 8.x and above as it's superior to 7's.

Edit: next time I reinstall Windows I will use this instead of Win Spy.
