Look at the signature links in the posts just before yours (not the badges section, that is something else) and also in my post, they don't have bold applied.

If they are going by a fixed size that then translates into lines, applying bold to four lines may be going over the limit.
I don't think that is the problem, I "shrunk the kids" and it is still behaving the same. It seems that a link is counted as the link text (of which the longest link is actually to an OCN pages ) which is "Implicitly wrapped". Seems to me that if the intent is to optimize space, links should not be treated as more than what is displayed in the sig block.
Attempt to meet the 7 lines and the actual links are shown below.

Hmm, it could be, but that explanation may have one problem though, Enterprise has five links in his signature, albeit in the same line.

For us to know for sure, we need Enterprise to try to edit his signature and see if the same problem arises.

Edit: You can try replicating his style though, put OCN flames in between links and therefore use less lines.

Hi,
Yes hyperlinks can be pretty long and there might be a per line character limit bug happening
Even a flame gif would add even more characters same as a link tag.

Something I admittedly left out is that the Limit will be 7 lines at font size 2

Just to make it 100% clear for everybody: how is Bold, Italic and Underline treated? No effect?

So far as I am concerned I will not make that a limitation, as long as it is 7 lines at max font of 2, you can use formatting as you wish.

Thanks, it was just for clarification since that could have been a potential issue in a question asked above.

What about icons? For example, the ones you are using in your signature, how does that affect things? The OCN flame spaces lines apart to some extent, and the hugs icon does so even more. Using them could go some way of nullifying, in terms of space savings, the size 2 font limitation, if say, the lines end up using the same space as size 3 or 4 fonts.

This will generally come down to interpretation but we will have guidelines as a staff as to what is considered over the top when it comes to the icons. For instance as you bring up, the hugs icon is a large one and I would have to consider that two lines. The flame being a small one, even though marginally taller than one line, I would still consider one line in fairness. This will be detailed in later documentation, it will not cover all the icons however, but will give you a fair idea.
