Staff Retirement: Arizonian

Hello all,

Please join me in thanking one of our long time staff who has chosen to step down to focus on other life projects and goals. Arizonian has been with us a good amount of time and has pitched in many hours of work in order to keep OCN a clean and friendly environment for all of us.

Arizonian my friend, enjoy your time on the retirement beach but don't be a stranger

All the best,
E

You’re welcome everyone, really was my pleasure all this time. Im grateful to @ENTERPRISE and @lemans81 that I was given the opportunity to help the community behind the scenes and got to meet a lot of good members in the interim. A lot of fun years and good times.

So for those that are curious a combination of work increase along with ailing parents between my spouses and my own moms, we are dealing with the mentally and physically challenged years between them that has taken up a lot of my time. We all go through it one way or another, it’s part of life, so no need for sympathy, it happens.

I’m the kind of person that gives 100% when I commit to something and lately that time has been focused elsewhere. I felt it was time to step back and give that 100% to those that have given a lot to me and need me.

With the current and last rounds of moderators that have come on board I feel comfortable that I’m not leaving moderation short handed. We got a good group of old and new, I know they’ll be fine. It’s a bit surreal how fast the past 7 years moderating has gone by.

In the meantime I will still be around OCN. I’m a tech enthusiasts and there’s no other forum I’d rather be for this kind of information and discussion than this community. The upside is I’ll have time to just be a member again, where before I’d run out of time to post anything after moderating.

Thanks again for everyone’s well wishes, it means a lot to me.

Thank you.

By Built-in Benchmark Queen:
My 2.5 years old delidded 7980xe @ 4600mhz all core with 49ns memorylatency (4000c16 twekaed) is faster than 3950x max overclocked on water in every scenario. Pretty good for a ancient cpu
In gaming it has no chance vs my new 10900k @ 5400mhz and 4600c16 tweaked memory. ~35ns memorylatency.
