Hello,

https://www.overclock.net/forum/82-v...l#post21789599

I have edited my club's members list and all I did was remove the placeholder IMG tags for the old extended, special smilies (which no longer work or showed, save for saying "speccool.gif" etc in place of the smiley). Many of these were used and handed out by myself and Mega Man to club members who had extensive collections, posted interesting things and so on (especially as a form of commenting on very rare game consoles in a collection).

So, all I really did was remove 10+ broken IMG tags. Now in my browser (Firefox), the club logo image at the top is HUGE in the thread, and before editing it was much smaller (roughly 350x500 or something). Additionally, the code block in code tags for the signature code to copy into club member's signatures is not showing and making a proper code tag box. Edit: it was working normally before I first edited it, and when I did and submitted it the normal code box went away, and instead it is simply showing as a link (e.g. the end result, as if someone sigged it). I can probably wrap it in code tags again to fix it (I hope?)

Really have no idea what I did or even how to fix it and make that club logo image (that says 'ocn retro') small again. I even tried moving text above it, as well as editing the img tag which appears to have a size definition, obviously making it smaller (it was 500x1000).

Apologies if a bug like this was already posted and if it is known.

I would try using the Image Tags.

Ok, so now I've edited it again, and stuck code in code spoiler tags, and it is putting them in a code box but NOT showing the bbcode (so it can be copied), just the end result of the code tags (a link).

Also, the image is still huge and this is AFTER making it just a simple image tag and not one that is a clickable link (img tags nested inside url tags).

Does this count as a legit bug? The thread was totally fine until I edited and saved it to clean up the non-showing old smilies. Has anything else been reported about the functionality of CODE spoiler bbcode tags? (I wanted a badge xD)

I have a hunch it has to do with CENTER tags being wrapped around everything- I will try removing them.

It has been a problem since we migrated. This has happened a few times with other threads. Generally speaking I have just advised that people re-do the image links from scratch where possible as it is the easiest solution. The CENTRE tag being wrapped around the IMG Tag should not be an issue but you can see changing it will work.

Are we allowed to link cross-site?

As far as I can tell, in Firefox, there doesn't seem to be a way to actually upload images to the site. I see a 'drag files here to attach' (which adds them as an attachment), but no way to reupload the image in the old manner and have it automatically insert a link.

I am using the latest Firefox with noscript, Blur, CanvasBlocker, Adblock Plus, and NoMiner on my daily driver install of a recently released Debian-based Linux distribution. I am blocking all the ads and many of the new trackers and Facebook, Twitter and Youtube. (Sorry!)

Even in the advanced editor I don't see a way to upload the files here as opposed to using another host. A lot of them don't allow direct linking nowadays and the image needs to be inline in the post itself.

Thanks and sorry for the trouble.

The following should help you with doing pictures in site

UPDATE New method https://www.overclock.net/forum/1516...our-posts.html If the list doesn't populate correctly after uploading the image (by attachment manager or drag and drop) you can try using post preview or posting and then editing to repopulate the list. Alternatively you can use the drag and drop upload with [attach] tags (see image)

Why is the editor missing all formatting options?
Change it in UserCP>Edit options (under settings and options on left)>Miscellaneous Options>Message Editor Interface> choose something better than basic for all the old options back
