Looks like a pretty iffy sleeving job honestly. Don't get me wrong, this is a FANTASTIC step in the right direction. But 3/4" of black heat shrink on each wire regardless of the sleeve color is a tad bit excessive/disappointing, if they fix this and/or change the plugs to match the sleeving color this will be a GOLDEN product that will attract many new very happy customers. They should also offer them by-the-cable at a diminished return price for those of us without 10+ Molex/SATA plugs.

That's strange. I don't think I've eaten any sexy beasts today...

Considering that buying extensions for my AX850 from FrozenCPU ran about $70 I'd say that price is fair....

But that's effing great! I think the price is spot on too. Want a green kit though...

I live in Denmark: 1. Hardware is more expensive. 2. Can't buy outside Europe due to toll fee. 3. Can't use links to Newegg or that kind. 4. US pricings are NOT the same as DK pricings.

The HX sets aren't compatible with the HX650:

'Compatibility

HX1050/HX850/HX750/TX850M/TX750M/TX650M PSUs only.'

A good idea, just not for people like me frown.gif

Great step in the right direction, waiting for someone to actually get them to give us close-up pictures and indepth review of the quality. Pretty sure Lutr0 is going to pop in here any second now! biggrin.gif As for the price, it seems fair but we'll have to wait and see the quality, type of sleeving used, etc. thumb.gif

From the pictures it looks like hideously long shrink wrap is used... If that's the real/final product I think going with ftw/paracord sleeving and doing it yourself would be a better look overall.

These are complete cable kits, not extensions like NZXT offers.

I'll take a complete kit or full custom job over cable extensions any day.

Also Agree, I work as a temp making 12.50/hr (US) making harnesses such as these. Of course, later this year, I won't be making anything cause it's all going to china.
