Don't be calling yourself picky, looks is the only reason we get ourselfs into changing the cables.
Do you mind if I repost your pics to other forums?

Go for it! I PM'ed George and he took care of me, I sent back the cables with a pre-paid label that was sent to me and waiting for another pack of cables being shipped back. <3 Corsair customer service.

Just comparing the zoomed in photos on newegg, the cpu or 8 pin on the Seasonic x-850 differs from the Corsair ax850.
I have the Seasonic x-850, and with a magnifier on the plug, I can see the difference between my Seasonic 8 pin and the newegg foto of the Corsair ax850.
Not that its proof, but I see a difference.

But agreed on the peripherals - different sockets/connectors arrangement between the Corsair ax850 and Seasonic x-850 models.

Trying to decide how to go on sleeving - pre-sleeved, pay the man Lutro0 when he's settled/working/comfortable, or .... \shudder/ - d.i.y.

I just got my cables and put them in. I think they really help my PC not to look so plain.

were you able to remove the connectors with no difficulty?

It seems that the new connectors they use have the heatshrinks superglued in or feels like you need a special removal tool frown.gif all mine wouldn't work

I am hoping Corsair George reads this and will respond. I am wondering why there is still no sign of the Corsair AX1500i here in Toronto Ontario Canada. I am sitting here with an unopened 900D, three GTX 780 Ti cards, and want only this power supply to go in my new system. Any idea when this item will ship to Toronto?

This power supply, and custom Corsair cables in red to go with it, would make me a very happy camper.

Many thanks for your time, and have an great day.

Are you going to volt mod those 3 GTX 780 Ti cards?
If not then you dont need the AX1500i.
