I'll be sure to point people towards this guide the next time there is a wave of UPS questions. They always seem to come in waves here.

Thanks! biggrin.gif
Maybe when I find another contiguous spare hour I can add that information!

rep+.

240W is likely nowhere near enough (assuming sig rig).
I was never a fan of those "pod" type UPS systems...

Might be worth investing in another UPS unit for your rig, however those things are great for other things like monitors etc!
When I have the money I'll make sure to buy a better one. Thanks. Will rep you when I get home.

Upgrades which are in consideration: U2713HM | Samsung 830 256GB | Keycaps | Sleeving | AX1200i

You should also get some Apple stickers so it won't get viruses, an Alienware logo so it can play games amazingly and some Razer gear so everyone knows you are totally 1337.

That's my way of saying thanks smile.gif

But yeah, the power here is pretty stable, so it's currently a glorified surge protector. However that'll change, lol... too many thunderstorms over here in the UK tongue.gif

I'm in the market for a UPS and was going to buy a CP1500EAVRLCD, but that has simulated sine-wave so I'll be going with the more expensive(almost a hundred bucks more here frown.gif ) CP1500EPFCLCD.

Thanks again!
