good units also.. but most of the seasonic units are prone to those ticking noise issues..unless its the ones without the fanless modes..then their gold..

I did consider Seasonic PSUs. One thing is, Centrecom doesn't stock Seasonic products, only PCCaseGear does. I'm looking to buy everything from one source. I could buy everything from PCCaseGear but I'll decide as the big sale day comes.

The high performance red AMD build plan is:
Corsair Carbide Spec-03 ($79)
AMD FX-8350 ($249)
ASUS Crosshair V Formula Z ($309) OR ASUS Sabertooth 990FX R2.0 ($229)
ASUS Radeon R9 280 ($248)
G.Skill Ripjaws 8GB RAM OR Corsair alternative ($105)
Cooler Master 700W G-Series ($94)
Cooler Master V4 GTS CPU cooler ($69.50) OR Corsair H100i liquid cooling ($149)
Seagate Barracuda 1TB HDD ($62)
Samsung 840 EVO 120GB SSD ($79)
ASUS OEM DVD-RW drive ($22)
3 x Corsair AF120 fans ($50)
Total: $1286.50/$1366.50/$1366/$1466

Is that power supply appropriate?

If the PSU is the Cooler Master Silent Pro Gold 700 watts then dont its rubbish since it has 95mv ripple.

The GM is decent but better then those 2

But if you can spend that much a way better option would be the V700
