Hi Cablemod, are any of your kits compatible with Silverstone Strider PSUs, specifically the Gold Evolution 1200w model? Is compatibility just about supporting the layout of a particular model's modular connections or is there some fundamental difference in the actual cables? I.e. could I buy a corsair kit for my Silverstone PSU, use the cables that fit and give the rest away? I've got sleeved extensions at the moment which take up far too much space so I'd be happy to buy a kit as long as I could use at least a few of the cables - even just the 24 pin and four PCI-e cables would save me a huge amount of space. Is this a possibility or would using the wrong cables have unintended consequences like the release of blue smoke and/or the occasional house fire? biggrin.gif

No they are not compatible with any SilverStone units...yet.
The SilverStone Strider NightJar 520 watts might be compatible with the SE series of CableMod cables, but thats not been confirmed yet.

Thanks for confirming. Do you know if compatibility relates to all cables in a kit or is it possible some would work if they fit?

No CableMod cable will work with any SilverStone units (maybe besides the NightJar 520 watts).

Bummer but thanks for the clarification. I guess it's pretty unlikely they'll make kits for a niche PSU brand like Silverstone so I'll have to look elsewhere. I don't have the time or patience for sleeving so I'll have to make do with extensions until I replace my PSU.

They might make cables for them later.

too bad. are you planning on releasing a set of cables for leadex in the future, possibly e.g. orange sleeving with orange LED or red sleeving with red LED. That'd look sweet.

edit: my bad, the LEDs are inside the PSU from what I can see trough the window.
