Oh I don't know with a newer Unit something from EVGA or Rosewill or something. This one is Probably fine for some time though, just happened to sat somewhere. No one bought the Coolermaster's because had made some more Dodgier unit's, but this one is a good one though. I'm undervoltin more and it's not freezing.

Just get the Seasonic Ultra Prime Titanium already if you have the budget (650 or 750W) instead of gnashing your teeth.

But it looks like there might be a new Corsair titanium by Seasonic on its way based on new Cybenetics certification which looks very promissing... the AX850
so i might hold on for a month or two...

https://www.cybenetics.com/code/pdf.php?id=se0

Thanks all!

The AX850 is not new its very old and its been out of production for years
Its based on the old Seasonic KM2 platform, cybenetics might have tested it but its not new or on the way

You are right there is an old AX850 but its also 80 GOLD Certified..
This new one is defo a titanium one based on efficiency and corsairs product number CP-9020151 is also different and fits to brand new product...
also date of certification on Cybenetics is 2018-11-29 I highly doubt they would bother with 9 years old psu

Corsair and Seasonic had a falling out a while back and i cant see them working together again unless a lot of money is involved
By the way if you want a Seasonic PSU but not one sold by Seasonic Asus has their Thor series where the 850 watt is a modified Foucs Plus and the 1200 watt is a modified Prime

https://www.tomshardware.co.uk/asus-...ews-59172.html

Edit: not sure if its only the 1200 watt or the 850 watt has it as well but there is an OLED screen on the side showing the amount of power its drawing
Some might think its cool but if you have a PSU shroud its rather pointless

Plus ASUS RMA nightmares. Just get a Seasonic
I don't know the hybrid fan curves for Seasonic but G2 is quiet and so are it's Leadex siblings I think from SF, RMx is quiet. Some review sites such as Anadtech and TPU may show the fan curve vs power load.

Other than that most of the modern PSUs finally perform somewhat similar and prices went down for a decent quality PSU with more options being available from multiple PSU makers.

Corsair selling Seasonic PSUs... never heard of any, doubt it.

Want a cheaper get Focus, RMx, or some decent SF or Seasonic made EVGA one.
Want to spend more get Prime but there are also Platinum and Titanium EVGA Leadex ones, might not be as good as Prime though.

Availability, prices, features, it's easy to decide.

Don't have any issue with the sound of my Ultra Plus titanium fan. I don't even hear it.
