Change Fan or Upgrade PSU

The stock fan of my PSU is VERY loud specially now because it's summer here and Recently I upgraded my GPU to a RTX2080 that increase on power consumition make the fan spin even faster that before and is driving me crazy.
I was thinking in chaging the fan for another model. the only half decent that I could find was a Phanteks Ph-f120mp. I'm not really sure if will work because the stock fan runs up to 2800RPM - 99CFM - 2.8mm/H20. Another option that i don't really want is change the PSU, this are the options: EVGA GQ 750W/850W - NZXT HALE90 850W - NZXT E850.

I7 8700K@4.7Ghz / Z370-A / 2X8GB 3200Mhz ADATA Spectrix D40 / 1TB Intel 600P / EVO 850 250GB / 4TB WD Gold / RTX 2080 GAMING OC / NZXT Noctis 450 ROG / EVGA G2 850W@ECO
Heatkiller REV 3.0 / XSPC EX360 / DDC 3.25 + EK-XRES / 3x Venturi HF-12 PWM

Is it noisy because it's a high CFM fan or is it noisy because the fan is failing? If it was me I'd just replace the fan for a few bucks and if it's still too loud then I'd upgrade it (or just get a fan speed reducer to reduce it to 9/7/5v). The few times I opened a PSU in the past they had wonky fan connectors and aren't standard 3 pin/PWM so I'd check that first unless you're fine with adapting the new fan to the old connector. I haven't opened a PSU in years though...

As for picking a fan, chances are the fan you have now isn't spinning at 100% 24/7 (though that would explain the noise) so you don't need to get another 99CFM fan.

Sorry I didn't explained well. The fan only makes noise under load always did, but now is even louder due the increase power consumition. The fan is okey even I added some sewing lube to the bearing. but still sounding like a angle grinder. My question is if the phanteks fan is okey or the psu will cook itself. I have one of those Phanteks fans in my case and they are really quiet even at high RPM

If you already have the fan, go for it. If the PSU gets too hot it'll just get less efficient unless it gets way too hot and then it'll shut off if it has OTP (M12II 750w does).

The Seasonic M12II is very well known for being loud
As for the EVGA GQ you dont want any of the models smaller than 850 watts as they are not all that good

I forgot that have OTP ... I will give it a try. Also I will remove the metal grill of the case that is very restrictive

Gotcha. What is your opinion about the NZXT E850 and the Hale 90?. The fist one I'm not very convinced because uses the FOCUS+ platform. I had bad experience whit that model in my job a lot of them fail after a short period of time and only sold a couple of units. Probably a bad batch idk

Well I found a EVGA G2 850W at reasonable price. Now my system is super quiet and the bonus is that now my GPU have zero coil whine, those cables with capacitors really helps
