The Seasonic Focus is cheaper than the G3 in most places

You can get the semi modular 550 watt for $60 on newegg with rebate and the fully modular 550 watt for $65 with rebate on newegg
The G3 is $80 on newegg with rebate

Hmmm order the Seasonic for $60 and not have to run to MC (1hr trip in total) or go to MC and get the Evga for $80 and use the store credit I have but wait until the weekend to get it..

Decisions... decisions.. lol

Go with the seasonic - It's the better of the two options.

The G3 is tiny bit better but has a known problem with noise
The Seasonic on the other hand is tiny bit worse but is cheaper and more quiet and buying from newegg saves you a car trip gas and traffic

Maybe its over way too much over kill but Newegg now has the 850w Focus Plus for $59.99 after MIR, so I am going to return the 550w that hasnt arrived yet.

No joke I saw that deal and was going to PM you about it. It's massive overkill for your needs but is a crazy good price.

I ended up with the 850w.
Still need to do the MIR, but I finished everything for the $25 steam giftcard (deal might still be around, not sure).

If I get the $25 steam credit in a week or 2, it would be a KILLER deal!
