I’ve already ordered a SeaSonic - PRIME Ultra Titanium and will return the Corsair.

The only real way to monitor power usage is with a kill-a-watt meter on your house outlet. Not sure why Link isn't accurate, doesn't make any sense to me.

I've got the AX1500i and I can promise you the Corsair Link software that attempts to communicate with it via USB is junk. I've had two of the AX1500i's and have never been able to get the link to reliably report power usage. I finally uninstalled it. HWInfo had a feature that allowed them to monitor the AXi via the link port for some time. I haven't checked on that to see if it works or not. As a power supply, it's fine. The monitoring shouldn't even be listed as a feature though because it really doesn't work well at all.
