Seasonic S12III 500 or Corsair VS 550

Which of these are better? Corsair has better specs but Seasonic has better warranty?

The Corsair VS is cheap group regulated rubbish
The Seasonic is better but not by much

You would be better off with a semi modular Seasonic Foucs or even a Corsair CX instead

I got them both for $25 each

I'll use the VS 550 with a 2200G + 7950
https://pcpartpicker.com/user/CravinR1/saved/F3Q8YJ

and the Seasonic with 1600 + 290x

The Corsair VS is pretty crappy and other than the most low end machines you should not buy one
The S12III has little info on it since its brand new and i dont know if it has DC-DC or not and its not even made by Seasonic its been outsourced from the info i saw

If you bought a Corsair VS return its crap

Edit: seems like the 500 watt S12III is group regulated as well so why even bother when its not better than the old S12II
Anything that is group regulated does not belong in a new PC in 2019
