Power Supply SENSE cable. 24AWG Safe?

Hi all,

I notice there are more “sense cables” in newer power supplies. They supposedly sense the voltage only so that the power supply can perform better.

Does that mean that thinner cables like 24AWG will work perfectly fine? I see that the default ones are like 22AWG.
