Is 650W enough?

Hey all,

I have an EVGA Supernova G2 650

Is that enough for the following:

Intel Xeon X5675 @4.5GHz
GTX 1070
12GB RAM (6 x 2)
1 res/pump combo for custom loop
2x 230mm fan
3x 120mm fans

Just want to make sure I don't hit limits.

I used a PSU calculator on be quiet and Seasonic but both give big differences .... be quiet says I only need 406w and Seasonic says 714w ... so I'm not sure!

Thanks

All PSU calculators are garbage and all of them will overstate numbers by at least 28% and 714 watts is ridiculous and i have no idea how it came up with a garbage number like that
Taking those 28% off from the low number and you get a number somewhere around 300 watts which sounds about right so your 650 watt is more than twice of what you need

Thanks Shiika! I did think that these calculators were nonsense.

Thanks for all your help in my threads so far!

Aerocool - Project 7 650W.

Just put money down for a new Aerocool - Project 7 650.

Just wanted to try this new unit out simply because it's good to try other non-standard manufacturers of power supplies.

Already have about seven Seasonic's and getting sick of always buying another model for a new PC build. This would be my first Aerocool power supply and hoping it doesn't destroy my AMD iTX setup.

Will let everyone know on here how this baby performs, when I push the 2700 upwards in power usage over several days.
