finding a 1000 watt psu

I thought 850 watts would be enough but, after some calculations the other day, from what i can calculate maximum load is at or over 850watts, these servers put a dent in a power bill just idling. Dual CPUs, 10G and RAID cards, 6 hard drives, 2 - 2+ GPUs, mobo, ram, fans, etc etc this server/work station pulls some power i've been looking at

EVGA 1000 GQ : https://www.jonnyguru.com/blog/2015/...ower-supply/6/

EVGA 1000 G2: https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=...aoIlfD7bCdM3bW

Seasonic Prime Ultra Platinum 1000 : https://www.jonnyguru.com/blog/2018/...-power-supply/

Seasonic Prime Ultra Titanium 1000 : https://www.jonnyguru.com/blog/2017/...-power-supply/

it seems to me since it's enterprise grade and doesn't OC the EVGA G2 might be decent and comes with 10 year warranty and is almost $100 less than the seasonics

IDK but I would hope at that level, they must all be pretty good, so I'd watch for a sale if it was me.

Apparently the EVGA stuff is to spec but is lack lustre in exceeding spec as compared to say seasonic, http://m.hardocp.com/article/2014/12..._supply_review

the conclusion talks about how didn't so well with vdroop/ripple in 1 or 2 tests. grant it it's 1300 watt model. it seems like on the forums, it's 50/50 between the 2. of course A+ ripple suppression is more important with OCing, where is a stock CPU isn't quite as picky.

Been super happy with my Seasonic Focus Plus, but it's only the 750W Gold variant.

Drew far more than 750W with my 9900K OCed and the XOC BIOS on my 1080 Ti and it didn't hate me for it.

Intel i9 9900K Coffee Lake @ X8 5309mhz (+47.5%)
AMD FX-8320 Vishera @ X4 5022mhz (+43.5%)

https://www.gigabyte.com/ARM-Server/R281-T94-rev-100#ov

These Arm servers getting on par with x86; potentially half the power draw & extra features like this.

"Cold Redundancy for servers with dual PSU. When the total system loading falls lower than 40%, the system will automatically place one PSU into standby mode, enabling the other PSU to take over the greater load. This can enable additional system power efficiency savings up to 10%.
