i7 5930k build

I'm going to a build i7 5930k pc and wondering if a SeaSonic G Series SSR-550RM will be enough to run it with a mild overclock cpu?
Spec
Mobo : ATX x99 chipset
CPU : i7 5920k {4.0}
CPU Cooler : not sure yet
Ram : 16g DDR4 2133
HDD : 1 or 2 SSD (pci-e) and 2 6tb
Video card : RX570 or RX580
A few case fans too.

Hi,
Probably could assemble one for not much over 500.00
6 core games well.

Did you ask the fellow why he assembled a 450.00 build way less exciting than this one

more importantly than why X299, why would you build an Intel system?

the 3950X makes anything below the 9960X a dumb buy, and the 3700X and 3800X make anything below the 9900K a dumb buy (and in most cases also makes the 9900K a dumb buy unless you need QuickSync).

unless you're getting the parts in the OP at a steep discount it sounds like a terrible plan.

Intel i9 9900K Coffee Lake @ X8 5309mhz (+47.5%)
AMD FX-8320 Vishera @ X4 5022mhz (+43.5%)
Intel i5 4690K Haswell @ X4 5013mhz (+43.2%)
AMD X4 960T Zosma @ X6 4870mhz (+62.3%)
Intel i7 6700 Skylake @ X4 4709mhz (+38.5%)
Intel i5 6400 Skylake @ X4 4588mhz (+69.9%)
2 OP pls nerf

For gaming why would I buy anything AMD over Intel? The 9900k and 9700k own the top 5 spots in practically any gaming benchmark you want to choose.

I also got my 9700k for less than the 3800x. Why would I pay more for less performance?

7600K was the top of the totem pole for the majority of games a few years ago too.

telling someone to buy an 8 thread CPU for ~$400 in 2020 is terrible advice. What you paid is irrelevant to OP.

The cpu, and ram was free. I had the psu laying around. I just need to buy the video card, case, cpu cooler, ssd and mobo, which is all around $400. Plus I have an i5 4760k at 4.0gz and it played all my games just fine.
