Hello!

I sold some stuff and I was able to get 135€.

I just saw a Antec True Power New 750W Modular f or 109€, but then I realized that it was not fully modular.

Then I saw this OCZ fatal1ty: http://www.caseking.de/shop/catalog/...tt::14995.html

But I see it has only 18A on each +12v rail.

Now my question is, should that be enough for an OC'ed Hd5970 considering I already have a Corsiar TX650 ? Or should I go for the Antec? Which one would you choose? Personally I prefer the OCZ because of the red led and its cheaper, and more modular cables! But I am not sure the OCZ will be enough'

Edit:

I also saw this one: http://www.caseking.de/shop/catalog/...tt::14465.html

Which one would you choose for my PC?

Thanks.

The TruePower New without question. The OCZ is Sirtec made junk, mediocre maybe. You don't want a precious rig like yours to have a low quality PSU.

Why are you upgrading though? The TX650 is still a good PSU.

Because my TX650 is almost on the limit and it does make some noise while both gpu and cpu are on load, so I wanna sell and get rid of it, and go for a more wattage one so I can be Ok, also I might buy a WC loop soon so that's even more power for the 650.. thats why.

So over those 3 you would choose the Antec True Power 750W?

Get the Antec, no question about it. It is much better quality than the OCZ.

Forget about the OCZ. Your decision should be between the Antec TP-750 and the ThermalTake ToughPowerXT 875. Both are good units, it just depends how much wattage you need/want. For what you have in mind though, 750W would be more than enough, so my vote goes to the Antec unit as well.

I've got that Antec truepower 750W, and I have had 0 complaints with it.

Keep in mind I am only running 1 260gtx right now with an old dual core, but I purchased it recently with intentions of upgrading to a dual card liquid cooled set-up, and I am confident it will run what I need without issue.

EDIT: It's only partially modular by the way...

If you haven't heard about the XFX PSU hype, here's a review.

I've got the Antec TP-750 as well, but with the blue LEDs on it and I recommend it. The only problem is you wouldn't be able to do quadfire with 2 5970's if you ever decide to go that path with only a 750W PSU. Otherwise, you should be good with everything OC'ed plus a WC system install.

I don't plan on buying another 5970 ever, if I ever changed, I would sell 5970 and get a single-gpu from 6000 series, nothing stronger
