Thankfully I get paid weekly so I will delid on a Monday or Tuesday and ship out by Friday the same week. Then if I don't yet have CLU, no worries I can sit on my delidded chip and submit the results for inclusion. May delid my client's 4790k if his Temps are higher than I like. He lives in a trailer with poor air circulation.

Thank you so much for the ability to use the tool, makes it so nice to decide whether I will purchase for future use on other Intel chips for myself and future clientelle. cheers.gif

The only issue I ran in to..and I may have been doing it wrong, but I could not get the lid itself to mount back on with using the white brackets for lining it up. The bracket would just not let the lid go down, even when twisting the center screw. I watched some videos on it, and people were doing exactly what I was doing, without an issue. I just had to eyeball it, at that point :/

that's because you need the 1155 relidder, he only has the 1150 and 1151 relidder. (I have exactly the same setup as he does, but I have a BETA delidder with retail relidder.
