**FAKE** Ebay Ryzen 7 2700x + Wraith Prism $65.99 Buy it Now

https://www.ebay.com/itm/AMD-Ryzen-7...72.m2749.l2649

I received a email that the 2700x was from hacked account and item removed. I paid with paypal and credit card but the charge has already been reversed.

Most likely a hacked ebay account. I see this happen all the time. They hack/crack an account that isn't used much with a lot of feedback. Then set a really low price to get a lot of people interested. Then never ship.

Also only has 1 feedback in the last 6 months. I wouldn't waste your time.

$66 is not a big risk and member since 2002. Regardless I'll let you know if I get it (not holding my breath but paypal ftw)

Yea, this is a pretty common scam on Ebay actually. If you bought it via credit card you might be able to get the charge reversed. I went through a very similar experience with ebay a few months ago.

Lesson learned. Always check the seller's feedback in detail. What are they after when the buyer protections reverse all the charges? Your personal info. Now the hacker has hundreds of peoples' names, phone numbers, addresses, etc. to be sold as a list of people more likely to fall for scams. Expect some very realistic phone calls calling you out by name from scammers pretending to be government, collection agents, etc.
