Believe it or not, I can't, I still look at the keyboard and only use one finger on each hand to type, and I've been using a keyboard for 20 years now, I absolutely can't get used to type any other way or it's a constant string of horrible typos.

Oh dear, the Swiss keyboard. I live in France (AZERTY) and work in Switzerland (QWERTZ) and it sucks so immensely to have 2 kb that, on my work laptop, I map the kb as AZERTY despite being QWERTZ.
Of course, I don't have to look at keys when typing.

And yes, any support drone coming to help me out on any issue, is VERY puzzled

trolling an adult is very dangerous, don't try it at home nor at work. you don't want to play tag with a rabid man.

I don't mean this in a condescending way but if you've been using a keyboard for 20 years and you can't touch type you're doing something wrong, you've obviously put in the time you just aren't making good use of it. It's like someone who's been hitting the gym for 20 years but has no results, it can only mean they're doing something wrong.

I learned on some really basic Windows 95 cartoon game typing program. I sucked really hard at first but after I finished all the "levels" in it, I was easily up at 60-70wpm. A few years in data entry type jobs and I got to 100-110wpm. Touch typing is a big deal nowadays, if you ever had to do a career change, even the most entry level desk jobs would laugh you out the door if you can't touch type at a reasonable rate.

I would really suggest using some of the various circa 2000's typing software available on eBay for $20, 30-45minutes once a week and within a year you'll be a hardcore touch typist.

Don't worry, I know I'm completely ******** when it comes to typing, I could probably learn if I really wanted to, I used a keyboard with my Dreamcast only at first for years (didn't have a PC before I was already an adult) so I was basically typing with one hand and one finger and holding the controller with the other while playing online games or simply browsing the web (only had a Dreamcast for that until 2007 on dial-up, trust me it sucked as a web-browsing machine after the first few years), and I basically never touch a keyboard professionally so I never really invested the time to learn properly since I can type reasonably fast that way and have no problem playing PC games without having to look at the keyboard, or I am really ******** which I wouldn't exclude xD

I'm sure I am part of a tiny minority but there must be a few people like me that enjoy PC hardware and know quite a bit about it yet don't really know how to type, some of my friends have insane typing skills yet they always ask my help for their PC build or upgrade, or I sometime just build it for them.

You are not a tiny minority. The only person I know who is a touch typist sits in a cubicle and types all day. I'm a 2 finger typist meself.

I took a class to learn to type in high school, on a real typewriter , because I wanted to better use a computer. It was the DOS era, no one used a mouse.
