I did the same. One time I pulled some of the keys off and switched them around to mess up the guy sitting across from me, but the teacher did not like it at all. I do not miss the "ding" and having to move the carriage back over.

I took typing in high school.

I'm not a perfect typist by any stretch though I can type without looking at the keys and know if I made a typo with my eyes closed. Keyboarding was a class I'm happy I picked.

So I learned to type in Highschool in 2002 or 2003. Believe it or not though, I actually got good at typing though the necessity of typing in Diablo 2. Good stuff.
